Jennifer Curry Wingrove, owner of Pilates On Park, renowned Ballerina of the California Ballet Company, and a STOTT Certified Pilates Instructor, initially became interested in Pilates to further strengthen her own body for her international dancing career. She was so impressed with what pilates did for her that she became inspired to teach and share this form of exercise with others. Jennifer's instruction utilizes a dynamic repertoire of exercises to emphasize strength, flexibility, and mind-body-spirit connection.

Jennifer has 22 years of teaching experience with 10 years of teaching Pilates in the San Diego area. Her clients include the California Ballet Company, San Diego Symphony and the Old Globe Theater. She is also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Professional Ballet Coach & teacher, and has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego.

Amy is fully certified in mat Pilates and all apparatus through The Physical Mind Institute. Amy spent five years teaching Pilates based rehabilitation along side a team of physical therapists and has extensive knowledge and experience working with special populations including breast cancer survivors, fibromyalgia, prenatal, postpartum, and geriatrics as well as sports and spine injuries.

Amy has over 20 years of training in ballet and modern dance and earned a BFA in Dance in 2007 from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle Washington. When she is not dancing or teaching Pilates she loves reading, knitting, and spending time with her family.


Natalie Pierce received her Pilates certification through Body Arts and Science International under the direction of the school's founder Rael Isacowitz in 2012. While studying Illustration at Riverside Community College, Natalie began to practice Pilates as a way to calm the mind, increase body awareness, and to reach her fitness goals. The method had such a profound impact on her physical and mental health, she decided to share it's limitless potential for total well being with others. Natalie continues to supplement her education through various workshops and self practice. She truly believes that one can find and achieve balance, strength and flexibility by training the mind and body to work together.

 


Emily Unter-King has been practicing and teaching in the mind body field for over 15 years. Her training and experience includes working as a Physical Therapy Aid, Certified Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher (RYT) and Pilates Post-Rehabilitation Specialist. She turned to the STOTT Pilates method to rehabilitate a chronic injury and through the process of her own healing and training has over 7,000 hours of mentored training and experience helping people strengthen their bodies from the inside out and relieve the discomfort of chronic pain and injury. Emily has worked with people of all fitness levels, ages and abilities as well as pre and post-natal clients.

 


Laura began practicing Pilates as a young professional ballet dancer to help further her dance technique. Throughout her 18 year professional dance career, Pilates has been an invaluable tool in keeping her body strong and injury-free. While dancing in New York City for the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, Laura completed her 650-hour comprehensive Pilates certification in the classical method through Power Pilates. Laura was fortunate to teach for a wide variety of institutions while living in NYC, including Equinox, Google, Power Pilates, Harvard Club, and dance intensives at the Joffrey Ballet School and Lar Lubovitch Dance. Laura is excited to bring her knowledge and experience to sunny San Diego.

 


Tara Hutton graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance from Butler University in 2011. She began her Pilates training under the direction of Carrie Gaerte at Pilates Indy Inc. in Indianapolis. Tara received her Pilates Mat certification through Body Arts and Science International. In addition, she trained under Karen Clippinger in the Body Arts and Science International Comprehensive and Dance Specialization Pilates program. Currently, Tara is in her third season performing in the corps de ballet at California Ballet in San Diego. Born in Wichita, Kansas, she studied classical ballet at the Nancy Hervey School of Ballet with Nancy Hervey, Jill Landrith, and Katrina Bierk. She danced with Ballet Wichita for ten years performing principal roles. At Butler University, she performed in both classical and contemporary ballets with the Butler Ballet. She received scholarships to many ballet summer programs and studied at American Ballet Theatre in New York City, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, Nashville Ballet, City Ballet of San Diego, The Rock School, and Tulsa Ballet Theatre. Tara taught ballet in Indianapolis and currently teaches ballet in San Diego. She is a 2013 runway model for Fashion Week San Diego.
